• Both the above-mentioned projects are part of the section of NH143D in Jharkhand. The ministry of road transport and highways has begun seeking special permission to award road projects after the phase of award slow down by since November 2023 in the absence of a new scheme to replace the Bharatmala Pariyojana. 

• As per the data, the NHAI did not award a single mega highway project in the first three month of this fiscal year except one project of 4 km until May and that too with the approval from the election Commission of India. In 2023-2024, the road ministry had awarded 611 km of road in the first quarter (April-June) compared to 969 km awarded during April-June 2022-2023.
