The Public Health Engineering (PHE) department of the State Government of Jammu and Kashmir is inviting bids for the construction and operation of a water supply network in Sumbal town under the AMRUT 2.0 program. The project involves laying new 450mm diameter clear water supply mains and other transmission networks of varying diameters, along with electromechanical works and allied works. The successful bidder will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the system for a period of five years. The estimated cost of the project is ₹5,44,50,000. The tender document can be downloaded from the PHE website from 15th August 2024, 06:30 PM onwards. The last date for submission of bids is 24th September 2024, 04:00 PM. The bid opening date is 25th September 2024, 01:00 PM. Interested bidders must submit a tender fee of ₹5,000 and an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹10,89,000. The EMD can be submitted through a Bank Guarantee or a Fixed Deposit.
