The Central Public Works Department (CPWD), specifically the EE(E)-Cochin office, invites tenders for the construction of a BSL-3 laboratory building at the KVASU Mannuthy campus in Thrissur, Kerala (Tender ID: 101448; NIT/RFP NO: 43/SE/EE(E)/KOCHI/2024-25). This comprehensive project, estimated at ₹8,41,52,699, includes the construction of a single-story RCC framed structure, installation of various systems (EI, fire alarm, PA, fire fighting, DG set, HVAC, LAN, CCTV, IBMS, EPABX, access control, UPS, RO plant, ETP), setting up the BSL-3 laboratory with equipment, and development works such as sewage, drainage, and water distribution systems. The project also mandates validation and approvals from relevant authorities and includes a one-year comprehensive operation and maintenance contract.
