Work Description - Repair/ Maint Of Earthing Pits, Gi Wire Earthing, Copper Wire Earthing, Gi Strip Earthing, Lightning Arrestor And Chemical Earthing At Afs Under Ge (af) Jorhat

The E-IN-C Branch of the Military Engineer Services, specifically GE (AF) Jorhat, invites open tenders for the "REPAIR/ MAINT OF EARTHING PITS, GI WIRE EARTHING, COPPER WIRE EARTHING, GI STRIP EARTHING, LIGHTNING ARRESTOR AND CHEMICAL EARTHING AT AFS UNDER GE (AF) JORHAT." This is an item rate contract with a work period of 210 days. The tender documents can be downloaded from March 25, 2025, at 06:55 PM until April 15, 2025, at 06:00 PM. Bids must be submitted between April 09, 2025, at 09:00 AM and April 15, 2025, at 06:00 PM. The bid opening date is scheduled for April 17, 2025, at 09:00 AM at GE (AF) Jorhat. Interested bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹90,000.00 payable to GE (AF) Jorhat, and a tender fee of ₹500.00 also payable to GE (AF) Jorhat, via Demand Draft or FDR. EMD Exemption is allowed. The tender reference number is 8686/E8. The tender is a two-cover system: Cover 1 contains the application with required documents as specified in the NIT, including enlistment letter, DD/BC for EMD, Provident Fund Code, and GST Registration Number (mandatory). Cover 2 contains the financial bid (Tender Document and BOQ). Tenderers must comply with the requirements for enlistment in MES and other stipulations outlined in the NIT.
