The Central Public Works Department (CPWD), a Central Government Ministry/Department, invites open tenders for the construction of 2280.30 Km of Lateral & Axial Roads in the states of Punjab and Rajasthan along the Indo-Pakistan Border, executed under EPC Mode. This comprehensive project includes the construction of a lateral road (Length 85.810 Km) along the Indo-Pak Border in the Gurdaspur Sector under Punjab Frontier, encompassing a 05-year defect liability period and a 05-year maintenance period (Package-I (a)), as well as the replacement of old designed damaged fence with a single row new design fence at various locations (Length 207.1 Km & 81.971 Km) along the Indo-Pak Border in Gurdaspur Sector under Punjab Frontier (Package-I). The estimated cost of the work is ₹ 4,86,04,19,589 with an EMD of ₹ 4,96,04,196, payable via DD, FDR, CDR, BC, or BG in favor of EE(C)-BFD-II, Amritsar. The time allowed for completion is 30 months. Key dates include a document download end date and bid submission closing date of April 25, 2025, at 03:00 PM, and a bid opening date of April 25, 2025, at 03:30 PM.
