The Ministry of Railways, Madurai Division-Engineering/Southern Rly, is inviting bids for the clearing of side drains at isolated locations along the MDU-MEJ (Up & Down) and VPT-TSI sections of the Southern Railway. The tender, titled "(1) MDU-MEJ (Up & DN ) section:- Clearing of side drains at isolated locations from Km:-496.440 to 569.700 in between MDU-NLL station in SSE/P/Way/VPT section for a period of one year and (2) VPT-TSI section:-Clearing of side drains at isolated locations from Km:-538.730 to 623.120 in between VPT-SNKL station in SSE/P/Way/SVKS section for a period of one year," is open to all eligible bidders and requires an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of INR 49,500.
