Work Description - To Construct Discarded Fishnet Collection Centers In 13 Coastal Districts, To Conduct Awareness Programs, Facilitate Recycling Of Discarded Nets, Provide Incentives To Fishermen Based On Current Market Rates For Discarded Fishnets/other Marine Litter

The Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) for a project to construct discarded fishnet collection centers across 13 coastal districts. This open tender (Tender ID: 2025_TNPCB_527812_1; Reference Number: T1/TNPCB/PWM/F010082/PWM/TNFI) requires the construction of these centers, the implementation of awareness programs promoting responsible fishing practices, facilitation of discarded net recycling, and the provision of incentives to fishermen based on current market rates for discarded fishnets and other marine litter. The EOI submission period begins February 26th, 2025, at 9:00 AM and ends March 12th, 2025, at 11:00 AM. A tender fee of ₹10,000 is required, and while a ₹50,000 EMD is indicated, EMD exemption is allowed through BG/ST. Interested parties should submit their EOIs to the Member Secretary, TNPCB Corporate Office, 76, Mount Salai, Guindy, Chennai, Pincode 600032 by the specified deadline. Bid opening will take place on March 12th, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the TNPCB Corporate Office. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for March 3rd, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the same address.
