The Ministry of Railways, Stores/South Central Rly, invites bids for the supply of sealed maintenance-free valve regulated lead acid rechargeable batteries. These batteries must be 12V, 7AH, and suitable for use in Emergency light units of LHB type AC coaches. The batteries must be no more than 2 months old from the date of manufacture and must be from one of the following manufacturers: Exide, TAFE (AMCO), Amar Raja, or HBL. The tender is open to all eligible bidders and requires no tender fee or EMD. All interested bidders are required to download the tender document from the official website of the Ministry of Railways.
