The Central Public Works Department (CPWD), a Central Government Ministry/Department, invites open percentage bids for the work of providing and laying hybrid polyurethane and polyurea chemical waterproofing membrane on the roof of various buildings at the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, Howrah, West Bengal. The scope includes A-type (2 Block), S-type (1 to 9), Biren Block (3 units - 17, 18, 19), Hostel No. - 7, 9, 10, 11, 16, Slater Hall, Main Building (CST Block Mining Block) and external face lifting including internal finishing of Top floor, renovation of toilet at all floor of CST Block and mining block of main building with renovation of electrical works of top floor CST Block & Mining Block at Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) SHibpur. Additionally, the project encompasses roof treatment work of the main academic building (balance part), guest house, SBI building, Netaji Bhawan, and Gymnasium at IIEST Shibpur. The estimated cost of the project is ₹92,74,819, with an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹1,85,497 required, payable via DD, FDR, CDR, BC, TC, or BG in favor of Executive Engineer-Kolkata-II-CPWD-Kolkata. Bidding documents can be downloaded from April 29, 2025, until May 08, 2025, at 03:00 PM. Bids must be submitted by May 08, 2025, at 03:00 PM, and will be opened on the same day at 03:30 PM. The time allowed for completion of the work is 45 days.
